Tatting done in the hoop! This is easy for you to stitchout and have free-standing tatting on the edge. Complete instructions included. This is a combination of free-standing tatting edges, cross stitch and satin lettering. You don't need a square hoop to do these designs. Ask if you are not sure if the designs will fit your hoop size.
These designs coordinate with the Tatting 1B (BIG) designs. Click here to see them.

edge designs done in the hoop! This design is done for all 5x7 inch (130 x 180 mm) hoops. For the roses, I used a slightly smaller stitch than for the 8x8 inch version and less cross overs so they fit the design size. |

This design was made
specifically for the 140 x 200 mm hoops (Janome) or you can use a larger
hoop. Can be done with or without the center designs. For the roses, I used a slightly smaller stitch than for the 8x8 inch version and less cross overs so they fit the design size. You also get all the initials! I have it with or without initials. |

This design is made
specifically for the 8-inch square hoops as a single hooping. It is
freestanding lace. I made this for my special friend, Rosemary. She likes the soft blue colors. You can use whatever colors you like. I stitched on a lovely white fabric. It is a bit hard to see in this picture but the tatting edge is all free standing. You also get all the initials! I have it with or without initials. |

I made this for my
friend, Joyce. I didn't add the cross stitch or the initial on
this one. She likes earth tones. I know she will like this
batik fabric with deep brown tatting edge. If you want to stitch one out like this, just use the first two colors of the design. |
