Tatting done in the hoop! This is easy for you to stitchout and have free-standing tatting. These are done with free-standing or as a doily (2 different centers). And they come with 3 colors versions too! Complete instructions included.

Free-standing tatting
designs done in the hoop! Can be made into a doily or attached to fabric. VERY EASY! |

Here are all of the
different tatting designs in both of the sets. They are done with
a single picot on the end of the tatting circles and they are also done
with three picots. I like them both ways! Some of them are done as a doily with a fabric center. You can add a center initial like I did or you can leave it plain. I used a silver metallic thread with mulberry paper for the one in the middle on the top row. Instructions included so you can easily stitch these out too. |

I stitched the 3-colored version onto the towel with invisible thread. You can see that the tatting edge is not stitched down. I love the mint color. I think this one might be my favorite - but I like them all so it is hard to decide! |

Here is the back of the
towel. You can see that I stitched around the last tatting circle
of stitches so that they are
floating on the fabric surface. It might be a bit hard to see but
click on the picture to get a bigger view of it. This will be easy
to remove and change when I want to change the colors of my decor.
These are easy to make so they can be great gifts for someone special! |

I made this one for
Laura. She says her favorite color is orange. I used a rust color for
the outside tatting stitches, a small piece of linen (you can use your
scraps for these!) and used a bright orange color for her initial. I
hope she likes it. Instructions included so you can make these too. (Letters not included.) |

I used a silver metallic
thread for this one. When I soaked it, I left it in the water for a long
time. The mulberry paper started to bleed a bit and it shows a
little on the thread. It isn't bad - its just that I know it is
there! When I make them again, I will probably only soak it until most of the water
soluble stabilizer was out and then dry it right away. This is the back of the project! Looks great this way too! |
