Completely free-standing tatting butterflies ~AND~ cutwork tatting
butterflies! 6 different butterflies! I designed these
myself. I used a regular weight (40 wt.) embroidery thread for all designs shown in this set. |

EASY! Cutwork tatting butterflies! I have them done as a single color or with 3 colors. Here are the 2 towels that I made. But you can put these on a blouse or anywhere you want a beautiful cutwork tatted butterfly. Complete instructions included. |

VERY EASY! These are all free-standing machine embroidery tatting butterflies. Some are done with crystals too! Complete instructions included. Don't wait to try these! Just stitch on wash away stabilizer, rinse and dry. That is all there is to them. Some are also done so you can add crystals. |

Here is the single color cutwork
butterfly on a cotton towel. I made it so these can have a
separate color for the edging if you want it to be the same color as
your fabric. I decided I wanted it all to be the same bright pink
color for mine. I have a piece of paper behind the cutwork so you
can see it better. I used a 40-weight polyester thread for this one. Complete instructions included. |

Here is the cutwork butterfly done with
colors. You can make the outside edge any color you want. I
decided it looked good with the color that is inside the wings. I used a 40-weight polyester thread. I stitched this one on a linen/cotton blend towel. It looks very rich. Instructions included. |

This is the free-standing butterfly done
with colors and crystals. I really like the "Creamsicle" color.
Doesn't it look yummy? I used a gold metallic thread for the
center of the wings. I used 20 SS crystals for some of the spots, 16 SS for some and 10 SS for the smaller sized ones. I love picots! And these butterflies have lots of them. |
